Based on visual inspection technology, Intelligentlaser has developed a visual seam tracking + parametric programming solution for medium and heavy plate. The intelligent welding solution for medium and heavy plate is composed of a laser sensor, a host control unit, a CUTEWELDER software system. After configuration, the laser seam sensor is able to pre-scan the workpiece and then form a profile of the workpiece feature points. Users can make a plan of the robot path on the basis of the feature points. Therefore, they can realize many welding processes, like reciprocating welding and intermittent welding, to improve efficiency.
